June 3,  1836   Charlotte Journal June 3, 1836
   -- GEORGE HUSTON, alias EZEKIAL W. MORGAN, alias EZEKIAL MORGAN, and who 
states that he is from Guilford County, was taken up in this place [Hillsboro]
yesterday, and committed for trial, for attempting to negotiate a forged note 
for $1,700 at this agency of the Bank of Cape Fear. He will be taken to the 
jail of Guilford County for safe keeping until our next Superior Court. -- 
Hillsboro Recorder.
