Greensboro Daily News (Greensboro, N.C.). January 29, 1925. Page 19. J. Frank Bennett, 76, died at his home on the Battleground road, about two and one-half miles from Greensboro at 10:45 o'clock last night. Mr. Bennett had lived in Guilford county all his life and was well known in Greensboro and in the county. He was a member of Pisgah church. Surviving are a brother, Monroe Bennett, of Ossipee; four sons: Rev. J.W. Bennett, Webster, G.L. Bennett, Toledo, Ohio, Charles Bennett, Cincinnati, Ohio, and James Bennett, who lives somewhere in the state of Washington, and two daughters, Miss May Bennett and Mrs. B.J. Penson, of Greensboro.
