ARNOLD ALEXANDER DEMPSEY
MR. ARNOLD A. DEMPSEY, 75

Arnold A. Dempsey, 75, died April 23, 1990, in a hospital.
  Mr. Dempsey, a native of Greensboro, N.C., had retired as a sales manager 
from Union Carbide after 44 years. He was the widower of Frances Beale 
Dempsey and was a Protestant.
  Survivors include a daughter, Ann D. Wyles of Schenectady, N.Y.; a son, 
Arnold A. Dempsey Jr. of Franklin; two sisters, Betty Lou Collins and 
Bernice Gibson, and two brothers, L.E. Dempsey and Larry Dempsey, all of 
Greensboro; and six grandchildren.
  Services will be private. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements. 
Memorial donations may be made to the James L. Camp Jr. YMCA, P.O. Box 581, 
Franklin, Va. 23851.
