Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Green Hill Cemetery in Greensboro He was a native of Crewe, Va. A member of William and Mary College Athletic Hall of Fame, a WWII Veteran, a member of the Society of the Cincinnati in the state of Virginia, a member of Huguenot Society of the Founders of Manakin Town, Va., a member of the Jamestown Society and the National Society Sons of the American Revolution. He was founder of K.C. Franklin and Company, Greensboro, retired owner of Select Library Books Company, a former member of the Greensboro Rotary Club, the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, The Greensboro Country Club, The Greensboro Cotillion Club, the M. & M. Club, past President of the Round Table and the first Vice President of the Greensboro Better Business Bureau. He was also a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Elsie Franklin; sons, Dr. Judson Franklin and Alexander Franklin, II of Greensboro; brothers, Arthur Franklin of Manakin-Sabot, Va., B. Spencer Franklin, of Annapolis, Md.; one granddaughter. The family will be at the home. Memorial may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Haynes- Lineberry Funeral Home, N.
