John A. Hedgewood to Be Buried Thursday. Greensboro Daily News (Greensboro, 
NC), Feb 20, 1924, p 2.

	Funeral services for John A. Hedgewood, 71, who died at his home on 
Kirkpatrick road at 8:25 o'clock Tuesday night, after a 10-day illness with 
pneumonia, will be held at the funeral parlors of Poole and Blue Thursday 
evening at 3 o'clock by the Rev. F. Frank Lee and Rev. R. Murphy Williams.  
Interment will be made at the Buffalo cemetery.

	Mr. Hedgewood was a member of the Buffalo Presbyterian church and was 
highly respected and esteemed by those who knew him.  He was a native of 
Guilford county and had lived here all his life.  He survived by his wife, who, 
before marriage, was Miss Martha Mitchell, and one brother, Charles W. 
Hedgewood, of Mildred, Kansas.
