Clarence E. Hegwood Died at Country Home. Greensboro Daily News (Greensboro, 
NC), Apr 8, 1914, p 5.

	After a long and trying illness, Clarence E. Hegwood, aged 53 years, 
died yesterday morning, at 4 o'clock at his home on the Battleground road, 
three miles north of the city. The deceased was well known among his community 
and had a wide circle of friends.  Surviving besides a widow are three 
daughters, Ina, Edenia, and Vergie.

	The funeral services will be held from Buffalo, Presbyterian church by 
the pastor, Rev. E. Frank Lee, this morning at 11 o'clock.  The body will be 
interred in the church cemetery.
