RUBY THORNLOW POWERS 

LITTLE SWITZERLAND - Ruby Thornlow Powers, 87, of Buckeye Lane, died Friday, 
Feb. 1, 2008 in a Spruce Pine health care facility. A native of Guilford 
County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna Ellington Thornlow, 
and wife of the late John Powers Sr.

Survivors include a son, Jack Powers of Little Switzerland; and several nieces 
and nephews. 

No services are planned at this time. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine 
assisted the family.
