STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, GUILFORD COUNTY.

 Know all Men, by these Presents, That We, Milton C. Apple   John Cobb are 
held and firmly bound unto the State of North Carolina, in the full sum of one 
thousand dollars, current money, to be paid to the said State of North 
Carolina; for the payment of which, well and truly to be made and done, we 
bind ourselves our heirs, executors, and administrators, jointly, and 
severally, firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our seals, and dated the 
20th day of April 1852.

 The Condition of the Obligation is such, that the above bounden Milton C. 
Apple hath made application for a license for MARRIAGE, to be celebrated 
between him and Hannah C. Wilson of the county aforesaid; now in case it shall 
not hereafter appear that there is any lawful cause or impediment to obstruct 
said marriage, then the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in 
full force and virtue.

This is to certify that I  C. K. Caldwell a minister of the gospel did 
solemnize the rites of matrimony between Mr. Milton C. Apple and Miss Hannah 
C. Wilson in Guilford Co. N.C. on the twenty eighth day of April A.D.  
eighteen hundred & fifty two.
