EDWARD GREEN b. 19 June 1762 d. 22 May 1835 (tombstone in Guilford Co. 
near Rockingham Co. line at Friendship United Methodist Church 
Cemetery. Will written 30 Oct 1832 probated Nov 1835 m. MARGARET. They 
had daughter RACHEL GREEN b. 6 Nov 1792 m. 2 Jan 1813 MEREDITH WEBB b. 
2 Jan 1793 Rockingham Co. or Guilford Co. line in N.C. both MEREDITH & 
RACHEL GREEN WEBB are buried in Haw Presbyterian Cemetery (now on 
private property in a forest of trees behind a tobacco field nr. 
Wentworth N.C. (Williamsburg township--located off Hwy 150 on Candy 
Creek Road (2627) on the south side of the road abt 1/4 mile down a 
farm road. There are some GREENS buried there also. Next to Meredith & 
Rachel Green Webb is

also Margaret W. Green b. 25 July 1829 d. 12 Nov following--3 mo 18 d--
she is buried near them also.

New Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery--New Bethel Township--located 2 
miles east of Bethany High School, north of Hwy 65 on Co. Roads 2359 & 
2361. First grave was that of R.F. Moore, who died 9 July 1899--the day 
the first Church was dedicated.

Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery--Monticello--was organized 
in the early 1800's. The earliest marked grave in the cemetery is that 
of Edward Green, Sen. 22 may 1835. The church & cemetery are located in 
the northeast section of Guilford about half way between Monticello & 
Osceola. At the intersection of 150 East and Friendship Church Road (SR 
No. 2728) 3 miles east of U.S. Hwy 29 North. This is near the 
Rockingham Co. line.
