GUILFORD COUNTY, NC - VITALS - Marriage Bond, Robert Bell to Mary Boyd,
			       17 Jan 1775

Know all men by these presents that we Robert Bell & Hugh Roberson both of
Guilford County are held  & firmly bound to our sovereign Lord the King his
heirs & in the just & full sum of fifty pounds prod money which payment will &
truly to be made & done We bind our selves our & each of our heirs jointly &
severally firmly by there presents sealed with our seals & dated this 17th day
of Jany AD 1775

The condition of the above obligation is such that where as the above bounden
Robert Bell hath made application for  a license for marriage to be Celebrated
Between him & Mary Boyd agreeable to an Act of Assembly Ratified the 4th day
of April 1741 Now if it shall not appear at any time hereafter that there is
no just cause to obstruct the said marriage that then the above obligation to
be void & of non effect Eln to Remain in force power & Virtue
