I William Clark of Guilford County and state of North Carolina, do this 27th day of September in the year of our Lord 1784, make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. That is to say:” “First, I leave and bequeath to my daughter, Elizabeth and her husband, Peter O’Neal, five shillings sterling, each of them;” “Also, I leave and bequeath to my son, Joseph, five shillings Sterling;” “Also, I leave and bequeath to my daughter Rebecca, and her husband, John Pritchet, five shillings Sterling, each of them;” “Also, I leave and bequeath to my son, Isaac, a tract of deeded land joining the land of Peter O’Neal near the mineral spring that is on land Peter O’Neal’s land. Also, his mare and a saddle, bridle, ax, ?Hon.? Dutch stove and ten pounds, unreadable.” “Also I leave and bequeath to my son William, all the rest of my real and personal estate ?together with my goods, chattels, lands and tenements;” “and lastly, I make and ordain my said son, William, my whole and sole executor of this last will and testament, in witness whereof, I the said William Clark have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal, the day and year above written.” Signed, sealed and delivered by the said William Clark as for his Last will and testament in presence of us who were present at the signing and sealing thereof.
