Nancy Greene ~ 1855

In the name of God Amen,
I Nancy Greene of the state of N Carolina and the county of  Guilford being of 
sound mind and perfect memory (blessed by God) do  this 14th day of January in 
the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and  fifty five make and publish this my 
last will and testament in manner following.

I first direct my executor to pay all my jsut debts and funeral expences after 
which I give and bequeath unto my brother Eli Green and sister Catherine 
Carter twelve and a half cents each.

I next give and bequeath unto my daughter Polly M Green after my deceace all 
my personal property and real estate consisting of house hold and kitchen 
furniture cattle sheep hogs bees and poultry and seventy five acres of land 
being in the aforesaid county known as a part of the old Green Tract.

And I hereby make and ordain my worthy friend Jacob Amick Esq executor of this 
my last will and testament.  In witness whereof, I  the said Nancy Green have 
to this my last will and testament, set my hand and seal the day and year 
above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Nancy Green the testatrix as 
her last will and testament in the presence of  us who were present at the 
time signing & sealing thereof
