Written: 1819

I, Richard Linthicum, of the State of North Carolina and Guilford County, 
being of perfect mind and memory doth make this my Last Will and Testament in 
manner and form following.  First I give and bequeath unto my loving wife, 
Sarah Linthicum, and her son the plantation whereon I now live during their 
lives and at their deaths to be sold and divided amongst all my children. I 
also give unto my wife Sarah one feather bead and one chaff bead and their 
furniture and one cow and calf to have her choice and one horse and all the 
rest of my property to be sold and my just debts to be paid of and what 
remains over paying my debts to be equally divided amongst all my children.  I 
witness my hand and seal this 21 day of September in the year of our Lord 
1819.  Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Michael Wilson Solomon 
Hodson  Affidavit: That the foregoing was acknowledged that it was the 
handwriting of this dec'd and that it contains his Last Will and Testament and 
that he could not sign the forms from weakness.

State of Carolina - Gilford County - November Term 1819
Michael Wilson and Solomon Hodson came into open court to prove the 
acknowledgements of the written Will.

Ordered to be recorded. Administration with the will annexed is granted to 
Michael Wilson who entered into bond and security and qualified.
