I, Jonathan Parker, of Greensboro, Guilford county, North Carolina, knowing the certantcy of death and being desirous to leave my worldly affairs in the best possible condition for my beloved children do on this the 7th day of October AD 1843 make publish and declare this instrument to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all others hearetofore made and declaring this and this only to be my last will and testament. First I commit my soul unto the Lord of Aalmighty God, who gave it to me and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my children. Second I wish all my land sold. The plase wheare my son Jonathan now lives and the plase wheare John Francis? and also my goods of every kind and at the discretion of my executor in what he may think best , publick or privet sale. Third I wish all my just debts paid and the balance if any to equally divided between my children Jonathan Parker Stephen Matthew Coffin Ratchel Clark and the eares (heirs) of John Parker William Parker and Abigail? Ozment. Fourth And lastly I hereby nominate and appoint James McIver sole executor to this my last will and testament hearby revoking all others.
