All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Sonia Parsons Haga n/a August 28, 2008, 1:48 am Source: Personal Written: 1815 Recorded: 1833 George Parsons In the name of God Amen I George Parsons of Guilford County state of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God, do this the seventeenth day of January 1815 in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen make and publish this my last will and testament in the manner following that is to say First, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Ruth, the black mare, two cows and calves, and one bed and furniture a plentifull maintenance of the plantation that we now live on her life time. Secondly, I give and bequeath to my son, James Parsons, all my part of the smiths tools. Thirdly, I give and bequeath to my son, William Parsons, dec'd son John ten dollars. Fourthly, I give to my son, John Parsons, one cow and calf and one bed and furniture. Fifthly, I give to my son, Evin Parsons, one hundred and fifty acres of land where he now lives being a part of the tract of land that I bought of Daniel Osborn. Sixthly, I give to my son, George Parsons, that plantation where he now lives inspected? at one hundred and eleven acres being part of a tract of land that I bought of John Harris. Seventhly, I give to my son, Robert Parsons, one hundred and seven acres of land on Richland Creek that I bought of Jonathan Parker where my son Robert now lives. Eightly, I give to my son, Thomas Parsons, the tract of land where I now live inspected at one hundred and forty one acres and I give unto him my son, Thomas Parsons, all and singlear my personal estate besides what is above mentioned in this my last will and testament. By his paying unto my daughters, Mary Wilborn and Catharine Parker, each of them one hundred and twenty five dollars and by his paying all my just debts. And I hereby make and ordain my worthy sons, George Parsons, Jim & Thomas Parsons executors of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said George Parsons have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written. {seal}George Parsons By the said George Parsons the testator as his last will and testament signed sealed published and declared in presence of us who were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof.
