William Parsons ~ May 1814
(considered to be a son of George Parsons Sr)

My smith tools to my son George. By paying little John at Bartis Clarkes ten 
dollars. Also the land to be divided equally between my sons James and John 
and James to have the gun and Mary five dollars worth of property. The still 
to remain on the place belonging to the orchard until James and John comes of 
age and then to be divided equally between them and the balance of the 
property to be divided equally among all the rest of the girls and for my wife 
Eleanor to have a peaceful and reasonable living off of the place during her 
widowhood and at the end of that to have her bed and furniture and one cow and 
for my accounts all to be collected and the balance over what pays my debts to 
be equally divided among all the boys and the five girls Katharine, Ruth, 
Patience, Charity and Eleanor.

George Parsons and John Parker came before me Jonathan Parker one of the 
justices in and for the County of Guilford and after being duly sworn 
beforeth? and sayeth that the above instrument of wrighting was committed to 
wrighting for a will for William Parsons dec'd and at his request in his last 
sickness and appeared to be in his sound mind and memory which was at his own 
house in Guilford County.
Sworn and subscribed to before me this 13 5th 1814
