I BENJAMIN SHAW, do by these presents make this my last will and give and do allow MATTHEW SHAW, the full privilege of the plantation where I now live to make a crop of every convenience that is, m--------- to accomplish the same un- ------ this year. 2nd, I give to my [son] JAMES SHAW one dollar out of my estate. 3rd, I give JONATHAN FISHER, formerly my son-in-law one dollar. [Husband of SARAH SHAW] 4th, I give to my son NOBLE SHAW all the lands where he now lives by paying one hundred dollars to the balance of my estate. 5th, I give to DRUSY WOOD and RHODA [SHAW] his wife, one-hundred and ten acres of land joining JARED PERKINS and FREDERICK DEEN in that lease. 6th JAMES MORTON and MARY [SHAW] his wife, I give one hundred and forty-five acres of land beginning at a black oak south [IOURING?] HUNT and ISAAC STANLEY in that border of my land. 7th I give MATTHEW SHAW two hundred dollars to be made out of my estates. 8th, I give ROBERT NORDYKE and BETSY [ELIZABETH BETSY SHAW] two hundred dollars to be made out of my estate. The said moneys to MATTHEW SHAW and ROBERT NORDYKE to be paid by my representative fifty-dollars per year until paid up [by] my will, that is all my past debts should in the first place be paid out of my estate. I also will the balance of my estate to be equally divided between all my children except JAMES SHAW and JONATHAN FISHER. Lastly, I constitute and appoint my son AARON SHAW and my son-in-law JAMES MORTON as my executors to this my last will and witness in whereof I have set my hands and deal this fifth day of April 1830. I hereby certify that the above dates I wrote this instrument of writing by BENJAMIN SHAW execution to be [hand will]. Signature M. The forgiving instrument of writing pertaining to be the last will and testament of Benjamin Shaw Dec. 9 was produced in open court and duty proven as such by Morris McGrady.
