Margret R. Johnston was married to John A. Simmons the 8 of December 1852

John W. Johnston was married to Susan F. Simmons on June 15 1853

Ann Eliza Johnston was born the 27th day of February 1820

James Sterling Johnston was born the 30th day of August 1821

William Littleberry Johnston was born the 19th day of May 1823

Louiser Frances Johnston was born the 27th day of Janeuary 1825

Sarah Magriger Johnston was born the 16th day of September 1826

John Willis Johnston was born the 22 day of August 1828

Susan Binford Johnston was born the 24th of March 1830

Martha Chappel Johnston was born the 1 day of Janeuary 1832

Willis Johnston was son of Sterling Johnston of Warren County, NC

Served as Captain of 8th Co Detached from Granville Regt. Second
Brigade, Richard Atkinson Col Com (Muster Roll, Soldiers of War of
1812)(Detached from Militia of NC 1812-14) - attained rank of
Colonel during this war

Margaret Moseley Binford, his wife, was daughter of James Binford
and Nancy Jane Walker, and had brothers John A. and James R. Binford,
she was born in 1798

Her mother married 2nd (Benjamin) Campbell, lived in Halifax County,
and had Martha, Louisa, Frances, and C.C. Pinckney Campbell. The
latter was executor of a will in 1835, so must have then been 21
years of age

Parents of Nancy Jane Walker lived in Greensville Co, Va

James Binford was brother of John Moseley Binford of Northampton
County - named executor of his will
