JERRY D. ASKEW

  WEST COUINA, CALIF. - Jerry D. Askew, 70, of West Couina, Calif. died Sunday, 
February 6, in a Couina hospital.
   A former resident of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and Durham, N.C., he was the husband 
of Mrs. Margaret E. Askew and a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Askew of 
Greensville, N.C.
  Besides his widow he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Keith Washburn, of West 
Couina, Calif; two sons, Jerry D. Askew, Jr. of Ontariio, Calif., and Harold B. 
Askew of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Bill Rush and Miss Anne Askew; two brothers, 
Johnny L. Askew and Robert Askew, all of Greenville, N.C.; and five 
grandchildren.
  Funeral and burial services will be at Oakdale Memorial Park in Gendora, Calif. 
on Thursday, February 10, at 3 p.m.
