THE TIDEWATER NEWS – 01-19-1961, SECT. 1, P. 4

   SCOTLAND NECK, N.C. – Miss Cottie Coburn, 72, died Wednesday in a Tarboro 
hospital.

   She is survived by one brother, Jesse Coburn of Franklin, Va.; two nephews, 
Leroy and Craig, of Franklin; nine nieces, Sylvia, Trula and Teressa, of 
Franklin; Mrs. J.N. Spivey and Mrs. Harold Stephen of Portsmouth, Va.; Mrs. 
Robert Linton and Mrs. Irwin Bohensteil of Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. Rupert Drake and 
Mrs. Floyd Bradley of North Carolina.

   Funeral services will be conducted at the Scotland Neck Funeral Home Friday 
at 2 p.m. by the Rev. A.V. Turner of First Baptist Church and the Rev. Nathan 
Eason of Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Kinston at 4 p.m.
