   BLACKRIDGE - Frank Curtis Edwards, 72, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1974, in a 
Roanoke Rapids, N.C. hospital. He was a retired construction worker. He is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude H. Edwards; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine 
Travis of Portsmouth and Mrs. Edith Blalock of Boydton; one son, Calvin M. 
Edwards of Colonial Heights; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Crenshaw of Richmond 
and Miss Lucille Edwards of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Finton J. Edwards 
and Hubert L. Edwards both of Ebony; nine grandchildren; and one great-
grandson. 

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 13 at the Herbert L. Farrar Funeral 
Home, South Hill, with burial at Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery 
near La Crosse.
