BETTY SUE VICK EDWARDS

   BOYKINS – A funeral for Bertie Edwards, 83, will be held today at 11 a.m. in 
Beechwood Cemetery by the Rev. J. Blaine Blubaugh. McDowell Funeral Home is in 
charge.

   Edwards died Tuesday in a hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of James Dayton Edwards.

   Survivors include two daughters, Bernice E. Jones of Emporia and Lucille E. 
Hood of Boykins; three sisters, Grace Fuller and Sophie Sands both of Richmond, 
and Louise Francis of Boykins; a brother, William H. Vick Sr. of Boykins; six 
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

*Died Roanoke Rapids, Halifax Co., N.C.
