DIED, in Petersburg, on the 2nd instant, after a lingering indisposition, MR. 
ANDREW FLEMING, a native of Ireland, and for many years a resident of Halifax, 
in N. C. On Monday evening his remains were conveyed to the silent tomb, 
preceded by the St. Cecilian Band (of which he was an honorary member) playing 
a solemn dirge, and followed by a numerous procession of friends and 
acquaintance.
