Obituary

Died in this city on Sunday last, William Gilmour, Sen., Esq. in the 57th year 
of his age. Mr. G. was for many years an inhabitant of the town of Halifax and 
has lately become a resident of this place. Although a painfull and inveterate 
disease had shattered his constitution, the equanimity of his mind was not 
destroyed and the fortitude displayed in his last moments was truly exemplary. 
His remains were intered with Masonic honors.
