ELSIE VINCENT LEWIS

Mrs. Lewis Rites Tomorrow At 2

  Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Vincent Lewis will be conducted Saturday at 2 
p.m. at Trinity Church, Scotland Neck, N.C., by the Rev. J.E. Sturdevant, 
rector.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The body will be taken from the 
Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, to the church Saturday at 10 a.m.

  Mrs. Lewis, 74, a former Suffolk resident and widow of Clifford Lemuel Lewis, 
died Thursday at 1 p.m. in Patrick Henry Hospital after a long illness.

  A native of Scotland Neck, N.C., she was a daughter of Zackery Taylor Vincent 
and Mrs. Bettie Cotten Vincent and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, 
Scotland Neck, N.C.  She was assistant librarian at Suffolk High School five 
years before retiring in 1950.

  The only survivors are cousins.
