ARYMAN GERALD “BUDDY” MILLER, SR.

  A funeral service for Aryman Gerald (Buddy) Miller Sr., 59, will be held 
today, May 2, at 2 p.m. in Emmanuel Episcopal Church by the Rev. Rev. Ben 
Duffy.

  Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park with W.J.M. Holland and Sons 
Funeral Home in charge.

  Miller, of Old Sedley Rd. died Tuesday evening after a short illness.

  A former resident of Weldon, N.C., he was the husband of Mrs. Mary Foster 
Miller and had been golf pro at the Cypress Cove Country Club in Franklin for 
the past 13 years.

  A member of the Professional Golf Association for 38 years, he had been 
assistant pro for John Kelly at Ocean View for 9 years, and was golf pro at 
the Cockayette Country Club for 14 years before coming to Franklin.

  He was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

  Surviving besides his wife is one daughter, Mrs. Judith M. Vaughan of 
Weldon, N.C.; one son, Aryman Gerald Miller, Jr., of Franklin, two sisters, 
Mrs. Lindsey Brickhouse and Mrs. Peter Wright of Norfolk; three brothers, 
Francis Randolf Miller of Eastern Shore, and Burnley Frank Miller and Thomas 
Oliver Miller of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
