Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Monday at Wrenn O’Neal Funeral Home of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. for funeral services Tuesday at 3 p.m. The services were conducted by the Rev. B. Marshall Whitehurst of Rosemary Baptist Church, Dr. Ira D. Hudgins of Franklin Baptist Church and the Rev. Wallace Kirby of Dunn. Burial was in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Pallbearers were George Daniel, Jimmie Rideout, Franklin Whitfield, L.L. Gray, Jesse Frank Vaughan, Marian Hughes, George Thornton Sr., and A.W. Livesay. Mincher, 62, died early Sunday in his home after a heart attack. He was the husband of Mrs. Ina Mae Mincher and a son of John and Mrs. Charlie Smith Mincher of Roanoke Rapids. A native of Halifax County, he lived in Franklin 20 years. At his death he managed the Thornton-Livesay Furniture Store. He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Besides his widow, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. K.D. Williams of Dunn, N.C. and Mrs. K.D. Dobbins; two sisters, Mrs. J.C. Mincher and Mrs. Jessie Baird of Roanoke Rapids; and two grandchildren.
