Zackariak Bannister Mitchell 
 
Littleton - Z.B. Mitchell (b. 10/16/1852)(son of Banister & Temperance 
Mitchell of Brunswick County Va.)

Funeral Services for Z.B. Mitchell (d. 4/11/1933) were held Monday 
afternoon in Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Francis Joyner, Rev. P.E. 
Bingham, Rev. Rufus A. Bradley, Rev. H. Reid Miller, Rev. Mr. Hughes of 
Emporia.

Interment - Sunset Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: J.R. Wollett, W.B. Gray, 
C. E. Foster, Horace Palmer, E. Ray Browning.

Mr. Mitchell - Born in Brunswick County, Va 80 years ago lived in N.C - 
married twice: 

(1) Elizabeth C. Williams, Va. - three children [two survive]: Horace 
Mitchell, Rufus Mitchell

(2) Linda Norman, Halifax County survives - two daughters: Mrs. W.R. 
Boyce, Mrs. W.B. Browning; sons Meade Mitchell, Norman Mitchell.
