Communication

Died at Spring Hill, Halifax County, on the 19th inst. after an illness of 
four days, Mrs. Sarah L.G. Rhodes, widow of Mr. William Rhodes; a lady whose 
eminent virtues, distinguished personal accomplishments, mental endowments, 
amiable disposition and engaging manners rendered her an ornament of society 
and justly endeared her to the very extensive and highly respectable circle in 
which she moved. Two lovely daughters, whose loss is as great as it is 
irreparable, with many friends in whose affectionate recollection her memory 
will be embalmed, are left to deplore her death.
