County, North Carolina, Record of Will Book 7, Page 161 I, SARAH A. E. Bunn of Nash County, North Carolina, appreciating the uncertainty of life and the appropriatness of disposing of my real estate by will while I am of sound mind, do make this my last will and testament. I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate. Item (1) I give and bequeath to my daughter SALLIE E. THORP, all the personal, property consisting of household and kitchen furniture which I purchased of JOHN THORP. Item (2) I give and bequeath to the daughter of my son, HENRY S. BUNN, my bureau and my Sarotogo Trunk. Item (3) I give and devise to my grandchildren LUCIE B. ARRINGTON and BENNETT ARRINGTON , children of my deceased daughter MARY B. ARRINGTON, one-eighth part of land, one in Griffins Township, Nash County, called Stoney Hill and the other in Brinkleyville Township, Halifax County, called my Halifax tract, to have and to hold to them and their heirs in fee simple. Item (4) I give and devise to my grandchildren WILLIAM B. THORPE and LUCIE C. THORPE, children of my deceased daughter Lucie L. Thorpe, one-eighth part of my real estate consisting of two tracts of land, one in Griffin Township, Nash County, called Stoney Hill, and the other in Brinkleyville Township, Halifax County, called the Halifax tract, to have and to hold to them and their heirs in fee simple. Item (5) I give and devise to my daughter-in-law, LOUISA BUNN, wife of HENRY S. BUNN, two-eight parts of my real estate consisting of two tracts of land, one in Griffin Township, Nash County, called Stoney Hill, and the other in Brinkleyville Township, Halifax County, called my Halifax tract, and the said LOUISA BUN is hereby granted full power to dispose of the whole or part of said real estate in fee simple or otherwise by deed or will during the lifetime of my son HENRY L. BUNN. In the event, however, she does not sell it during the lifetime of HENRY L. BUNN. I devise said real estate at the death of said HENRY L. BUNN to his children and their heirs. Item (6) I give and devise to my son BENNETT BUNN and his heirs one-eight part of my real estate consisting of two tracts of land, one in Griffin Township, Nash County, called Stoney Hill and the other in Brinkleyville Township, Halifax County, called my Halifax tract. Item (7) I give and devise to my daughter, SALLIE E. THORPE and her heirs, three-eights part of my real estate consisting of two tracts of land, one in Griffin Township, Nash County, called Stoney Hill, and the other in Brinkleyville Township, Halifax County, call my Halifax tract. Item (8) the balance of my realestate and property I give to the same parties in the same proportions and under the same conditions, as I have herein given my real estate by the five items next above herein. Item (9) It is my will and I do direct that Stony Hill shall not be divided or sold for division among my devisees unless a majority in interest agree thereto, but this item shall not prevent either devisee from disposing of his or her interest therein. I hereby constitute and appoint HENRY S. BUNN and JOHN H. THORPE my executors to execute this my will and testament. SARAH A. E.
