Hazel Yvonne Caudle
Born: August 20, 1929
Died: April 24, 2015

Zuni- Hazel Wells Caudle, 85, of Zuni, VA., formerly of the Back Bay area of 
Virginia Beach, went to be with our Lord on April 24, 2015 surrounded by her 
family at home. She was born in Harnett Co. NC to the late John B. and Katie 
Moore Wells. She was predeceased by her siblings, Thelma and Laura Wells, Berma 
Morris, Alma Durham, John and Paul Wells and her former husband James Calhoun and 
the love of her life for 36 years, Harold W. Henley . She was also predeceased by 
her son Johnny Calhoun and his wife Kay, granddaughter, Kristy Calhoun and great 
grandson, Vincent Grimaldi. 
   She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Basom of FL., and Brenda Paschall and 
her husband Douglas of Zuni, VA, a son, James Calhoun, Jr. and wife Roxanna of 
Yale, VA, seven granddaughters, four grandsons, fourteen great grandchildren, two 
nephews, five nieces, a sister-in-law, Carolyn Wells and a special former 
daughter-in-law, Susan McLane of FL. 
   She was a lover of animals and will be missed dearly by her pets, Maggie, 
Daisy and Buddy the cat. 
   A graveside funeral will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Charity 
Neck UMC Cemetery in Pungo, VA with the Rev. Gregory Kitts officiating. Memorial 
donations can be made to Black Creek Baptist Church, 34163 Vicksville, Rd., 
Franklin, VA 23851
