He was register of deeds of Harnett county for four consecutive terms after which he retired and went to Georgia on account of health. With his health partially restored, he returned to North Carolina where he resided until his death. Mr. Faucette's health had been failing for the past several months. Only a few months ago his son, Thomas C. Faucette, was instantly killed in an automobile wreck near Lumberton and the sudden death of his son was attributed to the rapid decline in his latter days. Mr. Faucette is survived by two daughters, Miss Jimmie Faucette of Fayetteville, Mrs. James (Mary Carolyn) Murchison of Lillington, three sons, John Faucette of Lillington, W. H.(Will) Faucette, Jr , and Henry B. Faucette of Raleigh.
