London trishahen@earthlink.net ==================================================================== In Memoriam June 5,1918 Lillington, Harnett County, NC Marian Alexander Cameron Faucette Mrs. Monnie A. Faucette, wife of Mr. William Henry Faucette, departed this life at her home in this town on the 5th day of June in the fiftieth year of her age. She having been born on the first day of May, 1868. She died as only a Christian can die; with perfect confidence that her Savior was waiting on the other shore to welcome her to the joys that are the reward of those who are faithful to the end. Mrs Faucette was a woman of remarkable weight of character, who impressed her individuality upon all those who came under her influence. She met every vicissitude of her stormy life with heroism that knew no fear; and with devotion for her husband and children that knew no bounds; with a faithfulness to her God our Savior that knew no doubt. She left behind a devoted husband and six children, Jimmie (Sarah James), whom married Mr. Robert Jones, Cameron, John, William, Henry and Mary. The two elder boys, Cameron and John, are in France, where she bade them go as true and loyal sons of America. We commend the husband the children of this sainted wife and mother to God, who can rob death of its sting and the grave of its victory, as an inspiration to all of us to follow where she so gloriously led.
