He was born Dec. 22, 1927, and lived his life in the community of Barclaysville where he was a farmer and owned a landscaping company with his two sons. He served in the Korean War as a master sergeant from 1950-1952. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dester and Lector Langdon; and brothers, Drexel and Danville Langdon. Funeral services were held at 11 this morning in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier. Burial was in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lillian Wilson Langdon; sons, Dee Langdon and wife Teresa, and Dess Langdon and wife Deborah; a daughter, Lydia Chisenhall and husband Pat; grandchildren, Danielle Langdon, Patrick Chisenhall, Dustin Langdon and Katie Chisenhall; brothers, Daywood Langdon of Coats and Don Ray Langdon of Angier; and sisters, Berlene Ennis of Coats, Brookie Tripp of Dunn and Brenda Langdon of Sanford.
