She was of a prominent family on both sides, the McNeills, of Harnett, and the Worths, being a granddaughter of the late Governor Worth, and daughter of Mrs. Roxana McNeill, who survives her, as do two sisters, Mrs. J.M. Hodges and Mrs. George D. Elliott. Mrs. Williams was a woman of fine character, a devoted wife and mother, and a member of McPherson church, from which the services took place.
