CHATTEL MORTGAGE.| We J P Lewis & L M Lewis of the County of Haywood
                 | in the State of North Carolina, am indebted to W T Sharp of
J P & L M Lewis  | Haywood County in said State, in the sum of Fifteen Dollars
     TO          | for which he hold my note to be due on the 1 day of Dec A.D. 1893,
  W T Sharp      | and to secure the payment of the same I do hereby convey to him these articles of Personal 
                 | Property, to-wit: my entire corn, wheat tobbaco crops 
                 | for the year 1893 grown on the Chambers
