Haywood Co., Marriage Bond 1837
STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA 
	
	Know all men by these presents, That we DAVID REECE & WM ALLMAN  are 
held and firmly bound unto the EDWARD B DUDLY, Esq. Governor of the State of 
North Carolina ,for the time being, in the just and full sum of one thousand 
Dollars.  To the which payment well and truly to be made done, we bind 
ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators. Sealed with our seals, and 
dated the 6th day of May  Anno Domini 1837
	The Condition of the above Obligation is such that, Whereas the above 
bounden  DAVID REECE hath made application for a License for a Marriage to be 
celebrated between him and CAPEY INMAN daughter of WIDDOW INMAN ? Now, if there 
be no lawful impediment to obstruct the said Marriage, then the above 
Obligation to be void and of none effect.
