Eddie Persons Married

From the Waynesville Courier: 

We have been informed, by what seems to be reliable authority, that Miss 
Nannie McCracken and Mr. Edgar Persons were married last Easter day by Rev. 
Mr. Sutherland. The marriage has been kept a secret quite well until lately, 
when like most secrets, it leaked out.

Miss Nan is a very charming young woman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.Q. 
McCraken, while Edgar is considered one of the best boys in or near 
Waynesville. He is a professional baseball player, being one of the crack 
pitchers on the Charlotte team, the leading and winning bunch of players in 
the State League.
