Samuel Robertson will- probated 1870 
I SAMUEL ROBERSON of the county of Haywood and State of North Carolina Being 
of Sound mind and disposing memory and knowing that it is appointed for man 
onst to die Do make Publish & declare this to be my last will and testament 
revoking all other wills by me heretofore made In manner & form as follows 
(to wit) 
First-I will my sole to God who give it and 
Second- I will and bequeath to my son THOMAS BROWNING & Daughter ANN BROWNING 
his wife one dollar which is all that I intend for them to have of my estate 
having heretofore paid them their full share. 
Thirdly-I will and bequeath to my son ELDRIDGE MEDFORD & Daughter REBECCA his 
wife all the remaining protion of my estate after paying my just debts & 
funeral expenses to be their absolute property to them & their heirs forever 
both real & personal In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and 
affixed my seal this 15th day of October 1853.
