To a white walnut on the bank of Richland Creek, then down the creek, as it meanders to a Walnut (near a stake) the N.E. corner of the Original, then West 117 poles to a Spanish oak, the beginning corner of No. 1; then S. 64 poles to a hickory of the side of a ridge, then South 60* West 123 poles to a Spanish oak, the South 8* West 18 poles to the beginning, containing one hundred and three acres. Lot no.3, We allot to Sally Turner, Beginning at a water oak on the bank of Richland creek, the beginning corner of the original and runs then down the center of the creek 136 poles, then North 12 poles to a white oak, then North 58* west 82 poles to a hickory, a corner of no. 2, then North 35* East 48 poles to a white walnut on the bank of the creek, then down the creek as it meanders to a stake, formerly a walnut, the N.E. corner of the original, then south to and along a cross fence 270 poles to a stake, then West to the beginning, containing ninety four acres with the exception of five acres heretofore convey to Robert Love. Lot no. 4, We allot to Joseph Turner, Beginning at a small Post oak in a hollow, a corner of William Welches land and in the Eastern boundary line of the original and runs North 65* East 111 Ppoles to a black oak and Post oak, then North 15* East 26 poles to a stake; then North 48* East 34 poles to a white oak; then North 23* East 33 poles to a white oak in the gap of a ridge at the head of a small branch, then down said branch to the mouth of a large ditch; thence with said ditch North 40* West 24 poles to Richland creek, then up the creek to where Turners' original line crosses the same and with that line South to and along a cross fence to the beginning, containing Sixty acres more or less. Further, we, believing Lots no. 1 and 4 are inferior in point of value, we therefore agree that Lot no. 2 pay to no 4 twenty five dollars and Lot no. 3 pay to Lot no. 1 Sixty two dollars . Guardian Bond 1830, David Plott State of North Carolina Haywood County KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that We David Plott and Roland Osborn & Banister Turner all of the county of and state aforesaid, are held and firmly bound unto John Owen Esq. Govenor of the State of North Carolina, and his successors in office for the time being, in the full sum of Six Hundred _____________to be paid to the said govenor, and his successors in office, in trust for the benefit of the child or orphan hereafter named, committed to the tuition David Plott the said sum The payment of which well and truly to be made and done we do bind ourselves, and each of us, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally firmly of these presents, sealed with our seals, and dated the 7th day of October AD 1830. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bounden David Plott is constituted and appointed guardian to Sally Plott his wife minor child of Robert Turner deaceased. Now if the said David Plott shall honestly and faithfully execute his guardianship by securing and improving all the estate of the said Sally Plott his wife that shall come into his possession for the benefit of said Sally Plott until she shall arrive at full age or be sooner thereto required, and then render a plain, and true account of his guardianship on oath before the justices of said court, and deliver up, pay to or possess the said Sally Plott his wife of all such estate or estates as She ought to be possessed of, or to such other person or persons as shall be lawfully empowered or authorized to receive the same, and the profits therefrom.
