                              CONNER CEMETERY

                            Henderson County, NC

     This cemetery is located in the west end of Bat Cave, NC. To get
     there from Chimney Rock, NC go west on Highway US 74A and past
     the US 74A and NC 9 intersection to the next County Road to the
     right, it is called Possum Hollow Road I think. Go to the first
     place that you can park your car beside the road and look to your
     right and you will see the cemetery. I recorded it April 20,
     1998. There was thirty or more graves with only a field stone for
     a marker.
