Darden, dec. on Thursday the 14th of December next, all the perishable property of said deceased, con- sisting of a large stock of horses, cattle and sheep, one likely mule, about two hundred barrels of corn, six or seven thousand weight of fine pork, and a number of other articles too tedious to mention-six months will be given, the purchaser giving notes with approved security before the property is changed. A. DARDEN JET WARREN Nov. 15th, 1815 (typed exactly as it appeared) Abraham Darden (1781-1829) was the half brother of Joseph Speight Darden. Jethro Warren (1783-1826) was the brother-in-law of Joseph Speight Darden & later married his widow. Joseph Speight Darden was the son of William Darden (1748-1801) and Susannah Speight Darden. Born in Hertford County and moved to Dobbs Co as a child.
