Indenture made November 10, 1736 between Thomas Banks and William Lewis both 
of Bertie, for sundry good causes and considerations me hereunto moving but 
more particular for the good will and affection which I have and do bear 
unto my son-in-law William Lewis Cordwainer (shoe maker) land in Bertie in 
Chinkapin Neck adjacent to John Vanpelts land; it being my plantation in 
Plum Tree Neck containing 200 acres.
Witnesses: Thos Lee Jurat and Isaac Lewis
Registered: Nov'r Court 1736
