Indenture made April 30, 1743 between Thomas Banks and William Lewis both of 
Bertie, for the love good will and affection which I have and do bear unto 
my well beloved son-in-law William Lewis Cordwainer (shoe maker) land in 
Bertie whereon John Kenney (my other son-in-law) now dwells in Chinkapen 
Neck on the south side of Wicacon Creek containing 150 acres.
Also all my stock of horses, cattle, sheep and hogs and all my household 
furniture and lumber of what kind wheresoever to be found in Amaria to the 
use and behoof of him.
Witnesses: Jno Wynns and Benja Wynns
