Indenture made -- 1738 between John Barefield and Elizabeth his wife of the 
county of Bath in Onslow Precinct for and out of the pure love and free good 
will that we bear unto William Curlee of the same county and in Craven 
Precinct land in Bertie Precinct at the head of Ahotskey Meadows land 
patented by Sarah Smith March 1, 1721 containing 640 acres.
Witnesses: Job Brooks, James T Curlee and William Kelley
Registered: August Court 1738
