Indenture made Feb'y 9, 1727 between William Curlee and Martha his wife of the 
one part and Edw'd Bryan Senr all of Bertie Precinct, for 25 pounds land in 
Bertie on the west side of Canaan Swamp adjacent to the Great Branch the 
dividing line between said Bryan and James McGlohon containing 317 acres.
Witnesses: Lewis Bryan and Simon Bryan
