for 10 pounds land in Bertie on the NW side of Yeamah Swamp adjacent to Middle 
Branch, John McMills line containing 185 acres. Witnesses: John Hart and Thos 
Fentrill. Registered: Aug't Court 1729.

Indenture made 3 Mar 1735 between Thomas Futrell Senr and James Lasiter both of 
Bertie, for 40 pounds land in Bertie on the WS of Yeamah Swamp containing 185 
acres. Witnesses: Jno Sutton and Thomas Futrell. Registered in open court same day.

Indenture made 24 Aug 1740 between Francis Pridgeon and Robert Lasitor both of 
Bertie, for 15 cows and calves, one horse and one mare, one buggy, one pair of 
blankets for land in Bertie on the NS of Yamrah Swamp containing 90 acres. 
Witnesses: James Lasiter Jurat and Jno Sutton. Registered: May Court 1741.

Indenture made 20 Feb 1743 between William Rodgers and William Lacitor both of 
Bertie, for 50 pounds current Virginia money land in Bertie whereon sd Lacitor now 
lives adjacent to the mouth Chinkopen Branch containing 100 acres. Witnesses: Jno 
Wynns, Isaac Hill and Jos Perry. Registered: May Court 1743.

Indenture made 20 Feb 1743 between Eleazer Quimby and Anne his wife of Bertie of 
the one part and Isaac Lasiter of the county of Virginia, for 20 pounds Virginia 
current money land in Bertie adjacent to Wm Sharps corner tree near the head of 
Goose Creek, Wiccacon Creek, northern point of White Oak Neck containing 50 acres. 
Anne Quimby privately examined. Witnesses: John Wynns and Isaac Hill. Registered: 
May Court 1744.

Quimby and Thomas Mores? Registered: Feb'y Court 1752.

Indenture made 10 Jun 1755 between Isaac Lassiter and William Witherington both 
of Bertie, for 25 pounds one certain island in Bertie upon the northern side of 
Wiccacon Creek adjacent to William Sharps corner, William Downing, Goose Creek 
Swamp containing 50 acres. Witnesses: Will Hooker Junr, Eleaz'r Quimby and Ann 
Quimby. Registered: July Court, 1755.

Indenture made 26 Feb 1757 between Thomas Morris and William Lassiter both of Bertie, 
for 32 pounds land in Bertie adjacent to Lassiters corner, Aaron Olivers line, E 
Quimbys line, Chinkapen Branch containing 260 acres. Witness: William Hooker. 
Registered in open court same day.

Indenture made 25 Jan 1758 between Charles Sowell and William Lassiter both of Bertie, 
for 50 pounds land in Bertie on the SW side of Chowan River next above Snake Creek 
adjacent to said River, Marsh Branch, Horse Swamp, Sowells line, Bear Swamp containing 
240 acres. Witnesses: Will Hooker, John Weston and Moses Oliver. Registered: Jan'y 
Court 1758.
