Indenture made August 12, 1729 between Jacob Lewis and Isaac Lewis of 
Bertie, for 75 pounds land in Bertie beginning at the west side of the first 
great Branch on Brooks Creek adjacent to William Drews line, John Rasberrys 
corner tree, John Mayner, William Keels line including all the land with the 
plantation that joins unto the above ment'd land excepting and always to be 
excepted fifteen foot square about the Grave or burial place containing 400 
acres.
Witnesses: Ed Mashburn and James Bryant
