Indenture made Aug't --, 1729 between Jacob Lewis and Mary his wife of the 
first part and Peter West all of Bertie, for 10 pounds land in Bertie 
beginning at Horse Swamp adjacent to Wm Howards line, John Jones line, line of 
marked trees to Cowhall containing 200 acres.
