Bk I, pg 47

Indenture made November 27, 1752 between Jacob Lewis and Henry Maynor both 
of Bertie, for 75 pounds lawful money of Great Britian land in Bertie where 
said Lewis formerly lived adjacent to Brooks Creek between Isaac Lewis and 
Joseph Harrell containing 100 acres.

Also one other tract containing 100 acres being the half of 200 hundred 
acres of land the other half belonging to Isaac Lewis and yet undivided.
Witnesses: Nathaniel W Hargrove, William W Boon and Wm Wynns
